Indianapolis Colts vs. Tampa Bay Buccaneers

The Indianapolis Colts haven’t played the Tampa Bay Buccaneers since their abysmal 2011 season. Now the Bucs are looking for a bounce-back season with a new quarterback, just like the Colts after their 2-14 season. It will be an interesting game to watch when both these teams are at fighting strength.

The Bucs were granted the first NFL draft pick. They chose well. They picked up a starting quarterback in Jameis Winston. He’s got a strong arm. And he’s got good timing. If he continues to look as good as he has in preseason the Bucs will have a better season.

Wide receivers Mike Evans and Vincent Jackson give the new rookie quarterback solid targets.

Fourth round draft pick Kwon Alexander was originally supposed to be a back-up player. But, he shined in training camp and preseason. So, he’s starting as middle linebacker. It’s a good bet he’ll continue to become a player to watch as he rides the rising star momentum.

This will be a growth year for the rookie quarterback. The Bucs aren’t likely to pose a threat for the Colts. But, then again, it’s bad to disregard any opponent. If the Bucs find good rhythm with a good, new quarterback, (think Luck in his rookie year) it could mean trouble for Colts fans.

Indianapolis Colts play against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the twelfth week of the season on Sunday November 29th at Lucas Oil Stadium in downtown Indianapolis. Kickoff is at 1:00 p.m. Our Colts VIP Tailgate starts at 10:00 a.m. Should be a good game to watch. Tickets for the Colts vs Bucs game are still available.
